Dual Enrollment course information for applications
When entering information on your college application about college level courses that you’ve taken in high school, you should only enter your dual enrollment course information, not AP or IB. The colleges that are granting the credits are FCCJ (Florida Community College of Jacksonville) and the University of North Florida.
The dual enrollment courses offered through FCCJ are:
BSC2085C - Human Anatomy & Physiology I, 4 credit hours (this course is taken the first semester)
BSC2086C - Human Anatomy & Physiology II, 4 credit hours (this course is taken the second semester)
HUM2211 - Humanities: The Foundations, 3 credit hours (this is the high school course - Humanities I)
HUM2236 - Humanities: Mainstreams of Cultures, 15th to 20th Century, 3 credit hours (this is the high school course - Humanities II)
When asked if you’ve earned a degree, the answer is “NO.”
When asked for month completed, indicate:
- October (for Humanities I if taken every day);
- January (for Humanities II if taken every day, and/or for BSC2085C, or for
Humanities I if taken alternating day for the first semester);
- March (for Humanities I if taken every day);
- May (for Humanities II is taken every day, and/or for BSC2086C, and for Humanities II if taken alternating day) .
The year of completion would be either 2007 or 2008.
IB students who have taken dual enrollment Spanish through UNF, the course numbers are:
SPN1120, Beginning Spanish I, 4 credit hours.
SPN1121, Beginning Spanish II, 4 credit hours.
When you have graduated and want to get credit for your dual enrollment courses, you *MUST* go to the college, FCCJ or UNF, to get a transcript to take to the Registrar of the college you are attending. Stanton does not have the dual enrollment transcript.
