POSITION PURPOSE
System Administrator has primary responsibility for backup and maintenance of the company’s servers. The System Administrator is also the primary support person for the organization’s network. As a member of the company, this position collaborates with other members to provide an information technology environment that is consistent with the goals of the organization and meets the needs of both users and the broader business.
PRINCIPAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Estimate % of Time Critical Level (15)
1.    Perform and monitor daily server backup and tape rotation.5% 5
2. Perform system administration of company-wide Linux and Windows servers. This includes installing and maintaining system and application software and keeping patches up-to-date. 20% 5
3.Serve as the primary support for the organization’s network. 15% 5
4. Assist IT Director in
1. Managing the operation, activities and services of the computing network.
2. Monitoring and supporting critical network services (e.g. DNS, DHCP and Email).
3. Maintaining and monitoring the connectivity to off-site networks, including the Internet
4. Maintaining accounts for staff.
5. Maintaining and coordinating the security of the computer network.
6. Performing service calls for network related problems.
7. Writing applications using various scripts, macros, and programming languages.
8. Providing documentation and training of network services.
9. Researching and recommending equipment and software solutions for stated needs.

NCAA Clearinghouse - Important!

Student-athletes must request final amateurism certification.  This must be completed immediately in order for you  to be eligible to compete prior to enrollment this fall.
1.Log in to his or her account at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net.

2. Click on the “Enter/Update Amateurism Questionnaire” link on the left side of the screen.

3. Proceed to the bottom of the screen and click on “Enter/Update Amateurism Questionnaire.”

4. Review each question to make sure it is answered correctly.

5. Click on the “Exit Questionnaire” icon at the top of the screen. This will take you to the previous screen.

6. At the bottom of the current screen, click on the “Final Authorization Signature” icon and complete the electronic signature information.

Seniors are NOT to schedule college previews on this day.

Diploma Distribution/Collection of Honor Cords and NHS Stoles
On Friday, May 30, 2008, caps and gowns, cords and stoles will be collected immediately after the graduation ceremony.  Diplomas will be distributed at that time to seniors who have no outstanding debts.
